


Cockermouth School is a high performing, truly comprehensive school located in a beautiful part of the country on the edge of the Lake District National Park, and is in the heart of its community.
We are welcoming applications for the role of Learning Support Administrator to join our teams supporting all students with a range of Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities. Special Educational Needs and Disabilities is coordinated across both wider school and for those students with high needs and this role is a central support to our inclusive approach. This role is full time and the successful candidate will be able shape their working year flexibly with us by working annualised hours by mutual agreement. This provides for optimum work/life balance and the ability to respond to predictable patterns of workflow flexibly in line with personal commitments. Some homeworking during school holiday periods will be possible by mutual agreement.
Successful candidates will have the initiative to work independently, a willingness to learn and develop, capacity to contribute to a team approach, flexibility and a genuine empathy for pupils with SEND. We are looking for a colleague to join our team who can demonstrate being highly organised, caring and experienced in working successful in a large and busy team environment. GCSE grade 4 or above in English and maths (or equivalent) is required.
