We were delighted to receive the verified data (from the Department for Education) for our A level results from last summer, which confirm that our students achieved a truly fantastic set of results.

The most important thing for us as a school is that the students’ outcomes allowed them to successfully go on and achieve their next steps. We are incredibly proud of every one of our students, whose achievements are demonstrated through these statistics.

When we compare our results with schools nationally and locally, our performance is extremely strong across all the key performance indicators.

Looking at the average points score of our students across their best 3 A levels, we place well inside the top 10% of schools nationally (above the 94th percentile).

If we look at the performance of students who studied towards applied qualifications, we place well inside the top 5% of schools nationally (above the 98th percentile).

Looking at a regional level, our average points score for A-Level is the highest in Cumberland and the average Applied General Points Score is the highest in Cumberland.

These results are achieved through the hard work and commitment of our students and staff and due to the wider support, that we receive from our fantastic school community.

Our ambition is to provide an exceptional learning experience for all. It is great to see our students making the very most of this opportunity, in our fantastic Sixth Form environment.
