Our Attainment 8 score (this is based on how well students in a school perform in up to 8 qualifications) is 51.8. This continues to place us significantly above the national figure (43.7) and the Cumberland average (42.2).

The percentage of students that achieved a grade 5 or above in English & maths GCSE’s is 57.4%. This compares with a national figure of 41.5% and a Cumberland average of 36.4%. This figure places us as the highest performing school in Cumberland.

The proportion of students entering the EBacc and the EBacc average point score (53.4% and 4.78 respectively) are also both well ahead of national (36.7% and 3.84) and Cumberland (32.0 and 3.75) figures.

We are particularly proud of the students who have achieved these results. They have excelled in our school and this has allowed them to progress on their educational journey, with many continuing into our outstanding Sixth Form and others securing places at local colleges and onto high quality apprenticeships.

We are also delighted to see students of all abilities, including those with SEND achieving great results within our school. This is what we really value, as an inclusive and comprehensive school that aims to provide an exceptional learning experience for all those in our school community.
