Oxford University, renowned for its world-class education and rigorous admissions process is one of the most distinguished institutions in the world. Over the last three years we have developed our relationship with the School Liaison team at The Queen's College, Oxford University. Ambassadors from the university have visited our Sixth Form students in school and have also run tutorials and workshops to support competitive applications to the university. In addition, for the last three years, The Queen's College has generously hosted a group of our staff and students so that we can attend the June Open Day in Oxford for minimal cost.
We are thrilled to announce that five of our talented Year 13 students have just received offers to study at the prestigious University of Oxford. Each of these students has demonstrated exceptional academic prowess, resilience and a genuine love for learning. This remarkable achievement not only highlights their hard work, dedication and passion for their studies, but also reflects the exceptional academic environment fostered here in our school.
Studying at any of the most academic universities requires a high level of commitment and preparation. Any students or families reading this and feeling inspired about their own academic future should talk to any of their teachers, or contact Mrs Milledge or Dr Henley who lead the preparation and application work in this area.
We wish all of our Year 13 students well as they continue to work towards their summer examinations. They are a fantastic cohort of young people and we look forward to supporting them through this process and celebrating their successes in the summer.
