Cockermouth School students took audiences on a magical journey to Oz last week with a truly outstanding production of The Wizard of Oz, delivering four exceptional performances to packed and appreciative audiences.
From the opening scene to the final curtain call, the cast impressed with their energy and talent, bringing the much-loved story to life with warmth, humour and professionalism. Each performance showcased the dedication and hard work of the students, who demonstrated remarkable acting, singing and dancing throughout the show.
The production was further enhanced by vibrant costumes, imaginative staging and a talented live orchestra, creating a polished and engaging experience that captivated audiences of all ages. The commitment of the technical crew was also evident, with seamless scene changes, lighting and sound supporting the action on stage.
